Although I was intimidated by Honors at first, it ended up being one of the most fulfilling parts of my entire education. Under the guidance of my faculty mentors, I got to have a real part in redesigning the chemistry lab curriculum at ֱ. Not only did I get to combine my passions for chemistry and teaching, but I also know I made an impact on the educational experience of future students for years to come. I even got to present on my honors project at a national conference (American Chemical Society) twice, with my travel expenses covered in full by ֱ. I’m so grateful I had those opportunities.”
